Vishwas
Jayarama, Kishore Kumaraswamy, Rajath Raman and Arvind Krishnaswamy met
each other during High School in Bangalore and share a common passion –
to solve problems which the common man is facing with the use of
technology. “We call it social innovation,” says Vishwas. All four chose
to pursue their respective curriculum interest back in 2007 (from
reputed colleges from across the globe) and focused
on learning tools towards building a technologically advanced company
from India. The time was finally right in late 2011 and thus came in
existence Creshya Technologies. They came together and the first problem
which they’ve chosen to meet head on is car pooling. The solution is
HopOn.
HopOn is a mobile application based solution and
probably India’s first truly Dynamic (patent pending) Carpooling
Service. Like any carpooling – you can either be a ride giver or
passenger. “All one needs to do is to pull out a smartphone and let us
know where you are going and relax. Our algorithm finds a ride match for
you in real time”.

Teliportme has caught a lot of attention, including that of Google, because of its app called 360 that allows users to create panoramic pictures on Android phones. The user has to open the app, and pan the phone around as it takes pictures. The app then stitches these images together to give you a panoramic view. The app also allows the user to share these images. Devaiah's startup already has a database of 3-4 million images uploaded by users, and the attempt now is to woo many more users to share panoramas, especially of locations, geo-tag them and provide more details about each. Teliportme will simultaneously build an app for Google Glass that will identify the wearer's location and match it with the geo-tagged database of panoramic photos in the backend uploaded by users. This will allow the wearer to identify places around him, and even obtain finer details about what he is looking at.
